A 1960s Benrus men's watch, featuring a Swiss-made 17 jewel movement that has been inspected, fully serviced, and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
This casual vintage Benrus is one handsome timepiece! The one piece stainless steel case (33.7mm excluding the crown) is in good condition for its age. There is light to average age wear, but overall, the watch looks great. The pale, textured dial has a touch of patination beneath the crystal and the Benrus logo is crisply legible. The Omega-type pitched Dauphine hands look amazing, as does the elongated sweep second hand. The crown has ample grip and it winds and sets well.
Inside the one-piece case, the movement is clean and properly lubricated. With a healthy amplitude and 0.0ms beat error, it keeps time with great accuracy. The watch comes on new, US-made lizard grain leather bands that accent the case nicely. Overall, this Benrus is a sturdy, handsome utility watch, subtly stylish and reliably accurate.
Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly. The watch will be well packaged and shipped out within one business day and tracking information is always included. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase and I'll reply promptly. Thank you for looking and have a great day!
