1978 Omega Seamaster Watch

What a find! The reference number on this handsome Omega dates it to 1978. The stainless steel case (34.8mm excluding the crown) is in excellent condition; it is clean, lightly polished, and incredibly rugged. The beautiful silvered dial is pristine, thanks to the original, signed crystal that protects it. The elongated, silver and black pinstriped hands are in fine shape. The crown has plenty of grip and it winds and sets effortlessly. There is a dedication on the caseback, but it's not visible while on the wrist.

The calibre 1020 is an automatic, quickset date, hacking movement. It is clean and the many case marks on the caseback indicate it has been well cared for over the decades. The automatic assembly silently winds the watch while you wear it. The Omega has been timegrapher regulated in positions and is keeping time with impeccable accuracy, thanks to its 28,800 v/h movement. The watch comes on flat black leather bands with a matching silver buckle. The original red presentation box (pictured) is included with the watch and it is in pristine shape; the outer box (not pictured) is included as well, though it is somewhat worn.
