A vintage 1972 Bulova Senator "A" men's automatic calendar watch, featuring a Swiss-made 23 jewel Bulova 11AOACB movement that has been inspected, fully serviced and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
Bulova went all out with the Senator models and the 1972 "A" variant is no exception! The brushed stainless steel case (35.6mm excluding the crown) is in fine condition, with an engine turned bezel surrounding that spectacular deep blue dial. Applique indices match the quintessentially Seventies club hands and both the day and date apertures are framed to match the traffic cone orange sweep second hand. Finish it off with a 21,600v/h, 23 jewel 11AOACB self-winding movement (with pull-crown quickset date function) and you've got Bulova's highest-grade model of 1970's.
The case has only minor age wear, the crown has plenty of grip, and the caseback is in fine condition as well. A new crystal was installed during the overhaul and it looks amazing. The Senator comes on new lightly padded blue leather rally straps with orange stitching by www.StrapsCo.com that accent the dial perfectly. Overall, this is one eye-catching Bulova Senator! Grab it while you can!
