A vintage Croton Aquamatic men's watch, featuring a Swiss-made A. Schild 1902 automatic calendar movement that has been inspected, fully serviced and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
A perennial favorite among collectors, this Croton Aquamatic is in excellent condition for its age! The brilliant gold Batman case (32.3mm excluding the crown) has minimal age wear and no visible brassing. The copper hued dial is impeccably preserved beneath the polished crystal, contrasting nicely with the case. The classic 70's club hands are in fine condition, as are the applique indices. The date indicator matches the dial shade, an unusual and classy touch.
The stainless steel caseback is in fine condition, with only the lightest age wear. The 21,600 v/h self-winding movement is highly accurate; with a high amplitude, it has been regulated to +/-10 seconds per day. The watch comes with brand new 16mm alligator grain leather bands. It's hard to believe this watch is nearly half a century old! Classic Seventies styling, precision Swiss accuracy, and with a dial that won't quit, this Aquamatic is sure to become your new favorite watch!
Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly. The watch will be well packaged and shipped out within one business day and tracking information is always included. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase and I'll reply promptly. Thank you for looking and have a great day!
