A vintage 1970 Bulova Golden Clipper "N" men's automatic calendar watch, featuring a Swiss-made 17 jewel Bulova 11ANACB movement that has been inspected, fully serviced, and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
Running from 1956 through 1976, this late era Golden Clipper is a true head turner. The polished heavy gold E.P case (33.5mm excluding the crown) is in fine condition, with light to average age wear. Black pinstriped gold applique indices match the quintessentially Seventies club hands. Bulova's iconic Whale stands out against the pale cream dial. The black enamel sweep second hand adds a bit of pop.
Inside, the 21,600v/h, 17 jewel 11ANACB self-winding movement is clean and properly lubricated. With a healthy amplitude and 0ms beat error, it keeps time with great accuracy.
The crown has ample grip and the 10k RGP caseback is in fine condition as well. The crystal has been hand-ground, polished, and looks amazing. The Golden Clipper comes on US-made genuine leather bands that accent the case and dial nicely. Overall, this is one seriously eye-catching Bulova!
