A vintage 1969 Omega Genève, featuring a 24 jewel calibre 565 automatic movement that has been inspected and regulated to ensure accuracy.
The serial on this handsome Genève dates it to 1969. The stainless steel case (34.5mm excluding the Omega-signed crown) is in excellent condition; it is clean, lightly polished, and has only the faintest age wear. The dial is pristine thanks to the original Omega signed crystal that protects it, all luminous hour markers are present and the luminous metal hands are also in fine condition. The date clicks over at midnight and the signed crown has plenty of grip, it winds and sets effortlessly. The caseback is also in excellent condition, with only the lightest wear.
The 24 jewel calibre 565 is a 19,800 v/h manual winding movement; it is clean and has clearly been well cared for over the decades. The Omega has been timegrapher regulated in positions; with a healthy amplitude, it keeps impeccable time. The watch comes on original Omega black leather bands with a signed silver buckle. They have been treated with Fiebing's leather conditioner and are both supple and comfortable on the wrist.
An incredibly well-preserved example of late-Sixties high style, this Genève will quickly find a place in your rotation!
