A 1967 Zodiac Automatic men's watch, featuring an in-house designed Zodiac Cal. 72 hacking movement that has been inspected, fully serviced and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.

This Zodiac is a true head turner. The stainless steel case ( 34/4mm excluding the crown) with light to average age wear. The brushed silver dial has some wear around the 1 o'clock hour marker. It's difficult to capture in photos, but best depicted in photo number 6. The Zodiac logo and automatic designation are all crisply legible. The hour markers are unique tritium-capped cylinders, matching the space-age rounded hands. The date clicks over at midnight and the crown has ample grip, winding and setting effortlessly.

The in-house cal. 70-72 movement is clean and has clearly been cared for over the decades. It has a hacking feature; pull the crown out and the second hand freezes, allowing for synchronization. The movement operates at 21,600 v/h, not quite a hi-beat watch, but still more accurate than a traditional 18,000 v/h. The automatic assembly quietly winds the watch while you wear it. Overall, this is an exceptionally clever bit of Swiss engineering, highly accurate, quintessentially Sixties, and remarkably stylish. An uncommon Zodiac model, it would make a fine daily wearer!

Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly. The watch will be well packaged and shipped out within one business day and tracking information is always included. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase and I'll reply promptly. Thank you for looking and have a great day!
