A vintage 1967 Bulova "Sea King" wristwatch, featuring a 17 jewel, Swiss-made 11ALC movement that has been inspected, fully serviced, and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
This thinline Sea King is in exceptional condition for its age. Utilizing a low profile 11ALC movement, the 10k gold electroplated plated case is only 8.8mm thick, including the crystal! The case is in good condition, with average age wear. The dial is pristine and the pitched Dauphine hands are a lovely red-gold. A new crystal was installed during the overhaul. The caseback is in very good condition, with minimal age wear and all date codes match. The crown is a bit on the small side, though once fully wound, it sets the time easily.
Inside, the 11ALC movement is clean and has clearly been well cared for. It keeps time accurately and looks great doing so!
Overall, this is quite a handsome example of the ever-popular Bulova Sea King. It is highly accurate, elegant without being pretentious, and would make a fine addition to any collection.
