A vintage 1966 Bulova Date King "C" automatic watch, featuring a Swiss-made 17 jewel Bulova 11ALACD movement that has been inspected, fully serviced and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
This Date King is in outstanding condition for its age! The polished stainless steel case (33.2mm excluding the crown) has minimal age wear and the silver sunburst dial has only a light patina. The Bulova logo and indices are all easily legible from a distance and the pitched Dauphine hands are a lovely reflective silver. The crystal has been hand ground, polished, and is clean and clear. The crown has plenty of grip and the watch winds and sets easily.
The screwdown caseback is in fine condition and all date codes match. The 11ALACD movement is clean, properly lubricated and keeps time accurately. The date clicks over at midnight and the automatic assembly quietly winds the watch for you while you wear it. The watch is mounted on new old-stock black lizard calf leather bands by Kreisler. Overall, this mid-Sixties Date King will quickly find a place in your rotation!
