A 1966 Bulova "Centennial" men's watch, featuring an Swiss-made 17 jewel 11AL movement that has been inspected and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
Another uncommon model of the 60s, this ultra-thin "Centennial" is an absolute knockout. The case (32.3mm excluding the crown) is in very good condition, with light to average age wear. The incredible white dial is exceptionally well preserved beneath the brand new crystal. All dial print is crisp and clear, and the pitched Alpha hands look as though they were made yesterday. The triple signed watch bears matching date codes and the signed crown winds and sets well. There is the faintest bit of wear to the case reverse, however it's not visible while on the wrist and is only aesthetic.
The movement has clearly been looked after over the decades and the watch keeps time accurately. The Centennial comes on brown genuine leather bands in a deep mahogany hue that accents the case finish nicely.
Thanks to its low-profile 11AL movement, this ultra-thin Centennial would make an outstanding formal watch.
