A vintage 1963 Bulova "Surf King", featuring a Swiss-made 17 jewel Bulova 11AL movement that has been inspected, fully serviced and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.

This Surf King is in outstanding condition for its age! The polished stainless steel case (32.0mm excluding the crown) has minimal age wear and the pale cream-hued dial is in absolute mint condition. The Bulova logo and ever-so-Sixties indices are all easily legible from a distance and the pitched Dauphine hands are a lovely reflective silver. A brand new crystal was installed, placing that dial on full display. The crown has plenty of grip and the watch winds and sets easily.

The snap-on caseback is in good condition and all date codes match. The 11AL movement is clean and properly lubricated. With a high amplitude, it keeps time with great accuracy. The Surf King comes on Italian leather bands in a rich mocha hue that are very comfortable and look phenomenal on the watch. Overall, this very minty mid-Sixties Surf King will quickly find a place in your rotation!
