A vintage 1962 Omega Seamaster, featuring a 17 jewel calibre 600 manual movement that has been inspected, fully serviced, and regulated to ensure accuracy.
The serial on this handsome Seamaster dates it to 1962. The gold on steel monocoque case (34.0mm excluding the crown) is in very good condition; it is clean, lightly polished, and quite thin. The beautiful champagne sunburst dial is pristine thanks to the original Omega signed crystal that protects it. The original pinstriped hands are in fine shape. The crown has plenty of grip and it winds and sets effortlessly. The case reverse is also in very good condition, with only the lightest wear, no notable case damage, and all Seamaster branding is crisply legible.
The calibre 600 is a 19,800 v/h manual winding movement; it is clean and has clearly been well cared for over the decades. During the overhaul, I installed a new mainspring, bringing new life to the watch. The Omega has been timegrapher regulated in positions; with a healthy amplitude, it keeps impeccable time. The watch comes on vintage brown leather bands with the old school strap keeper and gold buckle.
A true classic, this Seamaster will quickly find a place in your rotation!
