A vintage 1960's Waltham wristwatch, featuring a 17 jewel selfwinding movement that has been inspected, fully serviced and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
This latter day Waltham has seen its share of the action but it's ready for whatever comes next! The chrome-topped case (33.1mm excluding the crown) has notable age wear and light pitting; both are aesthetic only and don't affect the watch's integrity or function. The Waltham logo and selfwinding designations are crisply legible on the linen-textured dial. A brand new crystal was installed during the overhaul, vastly improving appearances. The crown has plenty of grip and the watch winds and sets easily.
The snap-on caseback is in very good condition, with all branding clearly engraved. Inside, the 17 jewel automatic movement is clean, properly lubricated and keeps time with great accuracy. The rotor winds the watch for you while you wear the watch, however winding the crown is both safe and encouraged. The watch comes on a very nice vintage stainless steel expansion bracelet by Kreisler. Overall, this mid-Sixties Waltham would make an excellent everyday automatic!
Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly. The watch will be well packaged and shipped out within one business day and tracking information is always included. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase and I'll reply promptly. Thank you for looking and have a great day!
