1960s Clebar Zodiac 25 Jewel Automatic Watch

A mid-1960's Clebar (Zodiac) calendar watch, featuring a Swiss-made 25 jewel ETA 2472 selfwinding movement that has been inspected, fully serviced and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.

World-renowned for their chronographs and rally timers, Clebar is an offshoot of the perennially popular Zodiac Watch Company. The stainless steel case (34mm excluding the signed crown) is in excellent condition, with only the lightest age wear. The case itself is exceptionally sturdy, it's practically military grade. The silver sunburst dial is in very good condition, with the exception of a small ring around the center. The Clebar branding is crisp and clearly legible, and the silver arrowhead applique indices brilliantly reflect sunlight. The luminous silver, pitched Dauphine hands look incredible against that sunburst dial! The acrylic crystal has been hand polished and looks amazing with the cyclops magnifier above the date window.

The crown has ample grip and it winds and sets easily. Inside, the 25 jewel movement is clean and properly lubricated. With a healthy amplitude and 0.0ms beat error, it is highly accurate with a respectable power reserve, as you'd expect. The automatic assembly quietly winds the watch for you while you wear it. The Clebar comes on brand new leather bands that accent the steel case quite nicely. With its 25 jewel count automatic movement and amazing silver sunburst dial, this Clebar is exceptionally accurate and devilishly stylish. It will quickly find a place in your rotation!
