Here we have a 1955 Bulova "Lexington" gent's wristwatch with a high end, 21 jewel 10BM movement. The movement has been inspected, serviced, and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
The Lexington is a wonderful piece of mid-Fifties style. The 10k gold plated case is scalloped along the upper and lower bezel, rounded along the sides, and faceted at the lugs, creating a case that catches light from every angle. It's a truly clever bit of design! The pale, cream dial is in very good condition, with curlicued gilt indices, gold Alpha hands, and the Bulova logo in crisp black script. During the overhaul, I installed a brand new crystal and it looks phenomenal.
The crown has plenty of grip and the watch winds and sets easily. The stainless steel caseback is in excellent condition, with very minimal age wear and all date codes match. Inside, the high-end 21 jewel 10BM movement has a very healthy amplitude, just above 300°, it keeps time with great accuracy. Overall, this is a fine example of the uncommon Lexington model, highly accurate, running strong, and ready to turn heads!
Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly. The watch will be well packaged and shipped out within one business day via USPS Priority Mail. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase and I'll respond promptly. Thank you for looking and have a great day.
