A vintage 1954 Bulova "Clipper" men's automatic watch, featuring a Swiss-made 17 jewel Bulova 10CSC movement that has been inspected, fully serviced and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
This Bulova "Clipper" is a stunner! The polished, rolled gold plated case (31.0mm excluding the crown) is in fine condition, with light to average age wear. The distinctive horned lugs are the hallmark of the mid-Fiftie's Clipper model. The pale, silvertone dial is pristine and perfectly preserved beneath the brand new crystal I installed during the overhaul. The signed crown has ample grip and it winds and sets easily.
Inside, the 10CSC movement is clean and properly lubricated. With a healthy amplitude and low beat error, it keeps time with great accuracy. The automatic assembly quietly winds the watch for you while you wear it.
The caseback is in fine condition as well. The Clipper comes on brown, genuine leather bands with a gold buckle that accents the case nicely. This Clipper is a fine example of mid-century American design that would make an excellent daily wearer.
Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly. The watch will be well packaged and shipped out within one business day and tracking information is always included. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase and I'll reply promptly. Thank you for looking and have a great day!
