A 1953 Bulova Belmont watch with a Swiss-made 17 jewel 10BT movement that has been inspected, fully serviced, and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.

This is one of the rarer Bulova models of the 1950s and it's in amazing condition as well! The handsome tonneau case (26.5mm excluding the crown by 26.7mm excluding the lugs) is in excellent condition, with very little age wear. The crown has plenty of grip and the watch winds and sets effortlessly. The dial is practically pristine, all branding is crisp and clear and the gold pitched Dauphine hands are a lovely reflective gold. The original mineral glass crystal has one notable scratch near the center, but it's done an outstanding job of preserving the dial. The caseback is in excellent condition, with minimal age wear and all date codes match.

The workhorse 17 jewel 10BT movement has clearly been well cared for over the decades; it is clean, properly lubricated and has a healthy amplitude, keeping time with great accuracy. The watch comes on lightly padded and stitches tan leather bands with a matching gold buckle. To find an early-Fifties Belmont is uncommon; to find one in this condition is quite rare. It will make an excellent addition to your collection!

Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly. The watch will be well packaged and shipped out within one business day via USPS Ground Advantage. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase and I'll respond promptly. Thank you for looking and have a great day.
