A stunning 1952 Roamer "Pointer Calendar" men's watch, featuring a Swiss made 17 jewel MST 417 movement that has been inspected, serviced, and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy. This Roamer is in surprisingly good condition for its age! The case has the average age wear typically found on early-Fifties antimagnetic cases. The dial is in absolutely mint condition with no patina whatsoever. The gold alpha/syringe hands are in perfect shape. The red enameled date hand clicks over at midnight, the day does so just before. A brand new crystal was installed during the overhaul, along with a new mainspring and stem. The crown has ample grip and it winds and sets easily.
This movement is clean and has clearly been looked after over the decades. Fully serviced, it has a high amplitude and keeps time with great accuracy. The Roamer comes on new blackleather leather bands white stitching and a matching steel buckle. Perpetually in demand, these Fifties pointer calendar watches are a personal favorite of mine. I'm certain it will quickly become one of yours as well!
The watch will be carefully packages and shipped out via USPS Ground Advantage within one business day of receiving payment. Tracking info is included. If you have any questions, feel free to ask prior to bidding and I'll respond promptly. Again, this watch is currently working, the balance is good, and it appears to be running a bit slow. It has NOT been tested for long-term accuracy, thus is is being sold as-is. If this is unacceptable to you, please do not bid. Thanks and have a great day!
