A stunning 1950's Helbros triple calendar watch with moon phase complication, featuring a Swiss made 17 jewel ETA 1100 movement that has been inspected and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy. This mid-Fifties Helbros is in exceptional condition for its age! The polished stainless steel case (35.5mm excluding the crown) is in very good condition, with only the lightest age wear. The dial is well-preserved, with light patination and the crystal has only a few minor imperfections. Gold Dauphine hands mark the hours and minutes. The red-tipped date hand clicks over at midnight, as does the day indicator. The moon phase disc is perfect, in vivid blue and reflective gold. Each function has a corresponding pusher and all pushers function as they should. The crown has ample grip and it winds and sets easily.
This ETA 1100 movement is clean and has clearly been looked after over the decades. It has been bench tested for months and keeps time with great accuracy. The Helbros comes on US made black leather bands with a matching steel buckle. This watch comes from my personal collection, it has long been one of my favorites. I'm certain it will quickly become one of yours as well!
