A stunning 1950's Benrus "Pointer Date" men's watch, featuring a Swiss made 17 jewel ETA 900 movement that has been inspected, serviced, and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.  One of the earlier ETA-based pointer calendar watches, this Benrus is in exceptionally fine condition. The 10k rolled gold plated case (30mm excluding the crown) is in very good condition, with minimal age wear. The dial is in good condition with a faint eggshell patina. The blued steel, red-tipped date hand clicks over at midnight, as does the day. The crystal is clear and scratch-free. The crown has ample grip and it winds and sets easily.

This movement has a quickset feature; simply press the crown and the date advances, no more endless winding! It is clean and has clearly been looked after over the decades. Serviced in August of 2024, it has a high amplitude and keeps time with great accuracy. The Benrus comes on new old-stock Speidel leather bands with a matching gold buckle. Perpetually in demand, these Fifties pointer calendar watches are a personal favorite of mine. I'm certain it will quickly become one of yours as well!

The watch will be carefully packages and shipped out via USPS Ground Advantage within one business day of receiving payment. Tracking info is included. If you have any questions, feel free to ask prior to bidding and I'll respond promptly. Again, this watch is currently working, the balance is good, and it appears to be running a bit slow. It has NOT been tested for long-term accuracy, thus is is being sold as-is. If this is unacceptable to you, please do not bid. Thanks and have a great day!
