A handsome early 1950's Lord Elgin men's wristwatch, featuring a 21 jewel grade 670 movement. The movement has been inspected and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.
Here's an eye-catching early Fifties American watch for you! The 14k gold filled case measures 24.4mm wide by 27.0mm tall. The pale cream-hued dial is pristine, with gold Arabic numerals, reflective gold Alpha hands and a small second hand. The original mineral glass crystal has been cleaned, has only a few minor scuffs, and has done an excellent job protecting that gorgeous dial.
The caseback snaps in tightly, as it should. Inside, the 21 jewel, US-made cal. 670 movement is clean and keeps accurate time. The watch comes on 17.5mm genuine lizard calf leather bands. They are practically new and accent the case tone nicely. Overall, this is a beautifully preserved example of early-Fifties American style. It would look great peeking out from beneath a cuff or on full display at the bar.
