This ladies Gruen is in surprisingly good condition for a nearly 90 year old watch! The simple rose gold case is in good condition, with light to average age wear. The salmon-hued dial is well-preserved beneath the new acrylic crystal I installed during the overhaul. The time is easily read, with silvertone hands pointing to lovely Breguet numerals. The caseback is in fine condition and it snaps tightly down to the case. The crown has plenty of grip and it winds and sets well.
Inside, the calibre 411 movement and all components are in excellent condition. Clean and properly lubricated, it keeps time quite accurately. The Gruen comes with its original stitched pigskin leather straps that accent the case nicely. This watch has a character that was 80+ years in the making, surviving adventure after adventure, and now it's ready for whatever comes next!
Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly. The watch will be well packaged and shipped out within one business day via USPS Ground Advantage and tracking information is included. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase and I'll respond promptly. Thank you for looking and have a great day.
