This Gruen Veri-Thin is in good shape for its age! The polished, gold plated case (25.0mm excluding the crown) has light to average age wear. The pale white dial is thoroughly legible and all numerals are a reflective gold. The caseback has light age wear and it snaps firmly shut to the case.
The crown has plenty of grip and the watch winds and sets effortlessly. The in-house calibre 426 movement has clearly been looked after over the decades and it keeps time accurately. The watch comes on new lizard grain leather bands that accent the case nicely. Overall, this is a fine example of the classic 40's Veri-Thin.
Please note that all mechanical watches, including automatics, require occasional winding in order to function properly. The watch will be well packaged and shipped out within one business day via USPS Ground Advantage. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask prior to purchase and I'll respond promptly. Thank you for looking and have a great day.
