1935 Bulova Ambassador Watch

A 1935 Bulova Ambassador men's watch, featuring a US-made 17 jewel 10AE movement that has been inspected, fully serviced and timegrapher regulated to ensure accuracy.

A stunning early-Thirties Bulova Ambassador in 10k white gold plate that has been incredibly well preserved! The true Art Deco case (25.5mm excluding the crown and 37.5mm long) is in exceptional condition for a watch bordering 90 years old. Intricate scrollwork surrounds the bezel, stepped sides allow for a round movement, and the concealed lugs are a classic Thirties feature. It's hard to overstate how clean the case is, polished white gold glints in the sunlight. The pale, cream-hued dial is in truly exceptional condition beneath the nearly scuff-free crystal. Gold modern hands provide a subtle two-tone contrast with the case. The caseback has light age wear, but it's not visible when worn.

The crown has plenty of grip and the watch winds and sets effortlessly. Regulated in positions, the Ambassador is quite accurate, as you'd expect. The high-end Bulova 10AE movement is in excellent condition, clean and properly lubricated, it should provide years of accurate timekeeping. The Ambassador comes a period appropriate US-made stainless expansion bracelet; it is clean, comfortable, and perfectly matches the white gold of the case. This is truly one of the best examples of a mid-Thirties Ambassador model I've ever come across; it's certain to make one lucky Bulova collector very happy indeed!
